Hello!
My name is Luke Davis, I would like to thank you for giving me an opportunity to win your business! I have been an FAA certificated A&P mechanic for well over 10 years now and what an amazing journey that has been and endless experience gained!
I have been in aviation pretty much ever since I was born. Being raised in the middle of western Nebraska I was fortunate enough to have two uncles that had their own aircraft and loved to fly! It was there that the “Aviation Love” seed was planted.
Since I have been an aircraft mechanic I have had some extraordinary opportunities come my way and I was always the one saying yes! My first amazing experience was working For Boeing on the 747-8 development and test. I then moved to the 787-8 where I was able to be a part of the final certifications with the FAA on the first model of the 787. After these two test programs were spooling down I moved with Boeing out to Patuxent River Naval Air Station where I worked with Boeing in the development and test of the P-8A Poseidon. All of these amazing opportunities have helped contribute to make me the aircraft maintenance technician I am today.
I will never be the type of mechanic that pretends to know everything about aircraft, quite frankly those types scare me and they should scare everyone else in the aviation community. It is these types of mechanics that cause aircraft to crash due to complacency. My first instinct will always to be to consult a manual even though I am completely capable of working on the fly. And you can fly assured that I will never send you up in an aircraft that I personally wouldn’t go up in.
Cheers,
Luke Davis
